About MostJewish

What's "MostJewish"?

We'll try to limit ourselves to a short answer (even though that's not so Jewish). The MostJewish game asks you to make a deceptively simple judgment: Which of four randomly chosen options shown do you identify as quintessentially Jewish?

Most important, we also ask you to think about which contemporary cultural item you picked and why. Your choices will tell you something about yourself.

And that's the point. MostJewish is more than a game. It is a tool to help you approach Judaism without preconceptions and find a place in the Jewish landscape that is meaningful to you. Where we go from there is up to you, though we're hoping it will include both thoughtful discussion and real-world action.

Because the site is brought to you by RRC, where we train Reconstructionist rabbis, we'll emphasize current invention as much as ancient knowledge.

In short: MostJewish is an open invitation — for Jews and everyone interested in Judaism — to explore the Jewish world in a unique way.
